Welcome to Canvas and Gifts. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, products, and services. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website.
Use of the Website
-Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use this website. By using this website, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age.
-User Account: If you create an account with us, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and the confidentiality of your password. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.

-User-Generated Content: Users may submit content to the website. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display the content.

Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the website will be governed by the laws of South Africa, and both parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of South Africa for resolution.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Canvas and Gifts shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising out of or related to your use of the website.
Orders
-Trust our designer option: This buying option means that you fully trust our designers to fit your photos onto the canvas size you have selected. They will do this at their own discretion to have your canvas look the best that they possible can.
-12 Months fulfilment: Unfortunately, we can only fulfil orders within the 12 month window. This is due to costs of materials being secured on a 12 month cycle, and retail prices is calculated at those cost prices. We cannot keep our fulfilment promise after a 12 month period has lapsed since placing an order. Please note that refunds will not be issued after the 12 month period has lapsed as financial records are finalised and closed at that point.
-Stretched edge buying option: When selecting a Stretched Edge wrap style border, the photo is enlarged to cover the front and sides of the canvas. Any faces and other focus points close to the edge of your photos will wrap around the sides. If the "Trust Our Designers" option is selected with a stretched edge option, our designer will do their best to fit your photos in the size canvas selected at their own discretion.
-Order Splitting and Shipping Policy: We do not facilitate the splitting or part shipping of any orders placed through our website. All purchases are considered a single transaction under the account of the user who initiated the order. Attempting to allocate portions of an order to separate parties, dates, or accounts may lead to billing errors, delivery confusion, and disputes regarding ownership and liability. By using our service, you agree that we are only responsible for fulfilling the complete order to the initiating user, and we will not engage in efforts to divide, split, or individually partner items within a single order for administrative or accounting purposes.
Image Uploads & Quality

Customers are responsible for ensuring that uploaded images are formatted in the correct rectangular ratio required for the selected product. We do not take responsibility for any parts of an image that may be cropped or cut off due to incorrect sizing or formatting.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all uploaded images are of sufficient quality and resolution. We cannot be held responsible for images that appear pixelated, blurry, or low quality when printed due to the original file provided.
Modification of Terms
We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms at any time. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes.
